Mobiles have become such a integral part of People’s life that ,they cannot imagine a life without it.Companies have grown from the monopoly days of nokia to the present days of samsung and the sudden surgen of Apple.All electronic manufactuers have tried their hands on mobile manufacturing.

A Chinese Manufacturer, Huawei has too tried his hands on mobile manufacturing and has been successful to a large extent.

With the launch of their Flagship model recently ,Here it is Huawei’s Ascend P6 which swears by itsa tagline “Elegance with Edge”. It was unveiled on June 18, 2013  and termed as the world’s slimmest smartphone at 6.18 mm,placing its emphasis on an ultra-thin design and Huawei Emotion UI(Emotionally yours).

This is an era of redefining the smartphone design and ‘refined’ operating systems and the experience, it’s rare to unbox a new device and be genuinely  surprised. The new refreshing look and also the sleek figure of the phone would give any girl a run of money. the best thing you can say about Huawei’s Ascend P6 is that you won’t forget the first time you held it nor regret it.

 

It is just a amazing razor sharp thin phoneIt’s a worryingly thin phone. IJust 0.61mm – not that far off an iPhone 5s or its other competitors, but thinner than all of them.The design has been so intricately done.This stands for skillmanship and perfection to the T.its sauve, sleek and gives you a stylish feel.

The hardware is up to date as well as beautiful. The screen is crystal clear, and the pixels feel ‘close’ to the top of the glass.Thin Bezel  and good form factor.

Rear Camera,has a 8 megapixels, good enough for the handset, and the phone performs well across the board. The battery is a 2000 mAh cell, which would give you decent talktime and usage on wifi and 3G.

Huawei’s Emotion UI is the huawei inhouse built Android skin. It has square, ‘modern’ icons that is quote different from the vanilla /stock android icons.As you need to group all the apps together based on category for easy navigation is a good idea. The sleek interface has much more to offer than a traditional android would offer.

Rs 26,000 is an affordable choice for a mid-to-high end smartphone user . It’s so amazing to hold at very least you’ll be getting a device that will impress your friends and family. This is for the ones, who would love to flaunt.

The Review:

  • It is priced around Rs 12k and is available in Vmall.in and other leading ecommerce sites.
  • The first thing i noticed after unboxing is,  I can hold the phone in one hand easily and use it.
  • It has a big 5 ‘ Display , I watched a Movie and Sherlock Season 3 in it smoothly.
  • Its not Big due  its carefully made screen to body size which is best in Acend Mate 2
  • Then it has dual sim (3g+2g) and best thing no Micro sim . U can use your normal sim.
  • You get near about 2gb internal memory with 1GB RAM
  • I did quick benchamark and it said that the Phone can run any game easily
  • I tried Riptide GP 2 and Asphalt 8 Airbrone in it and with no glitch it ran.
  • You will be dissapointed as it doesn’t support full HD but with MX Player you can run any kind of video in it
  • Battery is wonderful and is stays for a full day or upto the point you will get to a charging place.
  • The camera is 5MP with LED Flash and it takes amazing pics in day light ( Samples below)
  • The video is also of good quality and it records in 720p 3gp
  • The phone heats up sometimes due to extensive 3g usage or gaming but it doesn’t really affect the phone.
  • I am left with 90 MB free internal space and still its showing no sign of slowing down
  • Be careful with SKYPE application as i guess it has bugs which makes the phones proximity sensor turn on always, it may happen to you, they will update it. ( Not a phone error , other Skype user experiencing same problem).
  • Emotion UI makes the phone more usable as they integrate App screen and Homescreen Swipe and you go to apps.
  • Widgets are also nice and with updates you will get more.

So at the conclusion i can recommend to buy this Phone as it is priced according to specs and what it should be. For a higher range you can go for G700 @ Rs17k and Ascend P6 which is above Rs 20K.
